Imagine the possibilities with this amazing contraption! I mean, I don’t know what I would create with this piece of machinery, but I’m sure it would provide endless hours of entertainment.
The Desktop Factory 125ci 3D Printer from Desktop Factory is a 3D printer that lets you build models out of composite powder that are up to 5×5×5-inches. That is not very big, but considering that there is no reason to stop you from stacking or joining these models Lego style, there really is no limit to what you can build. It is extremely precise and will let you indulge in your wildest modeling fantasies.
Unfortunately it is a little pricey, at about $5,000. Still, it is cheap compared to what this sort of technology cost not so long ago.

It’s great for the office kitchen. You can make disposable utensils on demand. Anything is worth it if it increases American productivity.

Check out some Maker websites. I didn’t bookmark it, but they have plans and sell kits to make a mini-Fabricator. Cheaper than this fancy model, but does the same thing.

Actually, the stuff at the Make Website isn’t quite as hi-res, though they are a lot cheaper.
